A Wondering Star

For the past few years, my unsettled emotional roaming has been constant. Never really pitching up for too long in case I get jumped and attacked. Roaming the Days Gone environment echoes me wondering under the stars.

Next stop Daytona Beach.

DAYS GONE – Leaving stuff under the bed.

Joyful misery

Sometimes one needs to create a buffer as the onslaught of my PS5 widow’s complaints about my perpetual gameplay is insufferable. So for the next 93 days, I physically handed the box to a fellow veteran to babysit while changing my lifestyle.

I’ll still be Twitching and following, especially with some big titles on the horizon. It also opens up the Console sharing option where games purchased and downloaded can be played on the PS5 even though I don’t own the title. In my case, I’ll be diving into Horizon Forbidden West™ and a complete version of Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT in August.

Meanwhile, IRL, I’ll be tackling neglected areas of life, such as my weight and general fitness issue, as I can no longer blame COVID-19.

I remember struggling to play with a consistent group in the 2021 title Alien FireTeam and, despite being a true Aliens fan, it was no fun playing with randoms and no comms every time.

Took 8 hours a week to level up my Ronin in Ghost of Tsushima Legends

Warning!!! Shop, Stream and Send levels exceeded.

What was once an uncertain landscape is now as predictable as Perma Death mod.

Accepting this will lead to a better path of contentment. Like many, I sat at home streaming, sending and shopping from our favourite forest. 2022 will need to be different because I don’t have any more space in the house but mainly because material things don’t generate a decent level of dopamine.

Path of the Nomad tactics are needed to regenerate my health and well-being over time, but seriously I’m now on the hunt for a new Path. In the meantime, I’ve attracted a gradual load of low-level pesky bot attacks but not too interesting to talk about here.

Maybe a spending cap is needed for 2020 toooooo
