The Austerity Years [Level completed]

Interesting things happen when you are face down in the dirt. Folk who you thought would help scurry into the sidelines but along the way, you may find someone who helps you focus fire and defeat Boss levels you simply could not complete alone.

For many the most important thing going on is the uncertainty of the UK leaving Europe formally but for millions of gamers it’s the realisation of Division 2 and the randoms who will become real friends over missions, raids and whip outs.

My PS4 Pro will be delivered before launch so now I just need to protect my stash and farm for more loot.

Waking up the bird

It’s been a while since I’ve use the Twitter social channels to communicate or comment on anything.

Twitter stopped being fun for me years ago when people started taking everything literally as truth. What’s more interesting is the weight it carries in judicial and education systems and the massive impact it has on a real-life relationship, job markets.

I’ll be posting with a large disclaimer banner under academic research.

Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2 – Taking a holiday before launch

Endlessly

A stark picture was painted by CheckPoint founder Gil Shwed who stated very clearly how the landscape is getting more and more complex with a monster of 16 attack vectors with countermeasures of 26+ security technologies ramping up to a complexity rating of 416 just to stand still.

An absolute nightmare for any Security Analyst responsible for the organisation’s controls.

In the meantime, new threat actors are born everyday.

Threats are growing fast

With only a few weeks remaining for the big global launch, I’ve removed all games bar HitMan and FallOut 76.

I’ll be offline PS4 until launch day anyhow so will miss the public Beta.
