Level 6 decoys evolve – ClubHouse Widowers and Widows

For most Division 2 gamers, taking on an 8-person Raid is both time-consuming, intense and most importantly completely takes you out of IRL.  For the most part, somebody walking in the room, a phone ringing or a natural bathroom break can mean a total wipe for the team leading to a re-grind of the 2+ hour stage.

ClubHouse Voice brings that all-consuming element to social media for the masses, well right now it’s a bit exclusive invite only but you get what I’m talking about.

To a regular business user, this equates to a day-long webinar when you are actually doing nothing else in the real world.  The formula is dangerous and will probably succeed followed by mass complaints from the “other” humans in the room of the ClubHouser.  I wish them all the best, the sheer additive design is admirable.  In the meantime, I’ve shelved my PS4 in the vague hope that the PS5 will come back into stock at major retails before Feb 2021.

And the beats goes on….

After months and months of grinding, I’m finally back in an InfoSec driving seat leading the band. A massive challenge leading into a post-Pandemic arena but a brilliant way to start 2021. As a job-hunter my data has been there out in the wild for recruiters and agencies to view, craft and present to companies…but now it’s time to go dark again.

Gamer’s Path to Respect (in-game & IRL)

Without even knowing it, the thirst for Respect is one of the key drivers for many Gamers.  Buried deep in our subconscious we grind for better achievements and exotic talents that are higher than our peers with the overwhelming desire to be “liked” and Respected.

I’ve been running the same Blind Banshee build for months merely because is earns so much respect in Div 2 protecting the team and being an effective King-maker.

Here’s a Path to Respect

Be considerate

This build doesn’t kill NPCs very fast, but it sets up teammates to kill without being harmed.

Act respectfully

With hardly any real damage to NPCs, I need to encourage teammates to focus on certain non-obvious threats without demanding they “SHOT HERE”.

Listen and Watch well

I need to have good situational awareness, map knowledge and enemy spawn knowledge to anticipate where the threats come from and where they are likely to run to.

Be useful

Look out for teammates under severe threat of dying and disable the threat immediately.

Don’t make excuses

I’m very squishy so always need to look after myself and can’t blame anyone for me being out of position or foolishly flanked.

Let go of anger

Sometimes, it seems no one is shooting in the right places, just relax and be patient…don’t rage quit.

Be willing to change

If all fails or the team asks you to, switch to a Damage per second Build

Clearing out my stash – next 11 days [prepared]

The new season looks like an excellent opportunity for team achievement. Basically, farm a 100-floor Skyscraper to reach the Summit. I picked up a few notes from the Game broadcast but the patch notes will no doubt reveal a lot more details.

  1. Exotics Sub Machine Gun – BackFire Self Bleed effect – better get some hazard protection
  2. Memento BackPack – kills drop a trophy that buffs weapon damage, Bonus Armour or Skill Efficiency
  3. Kard-45 Pistol – named version gives +1 skill tier
  4. Six12 ShotGun – named version gives Armour on Kills
  5. GearSet – Hunter’s Fury – Apex Predator for 4 piece kills disorients other enemies within 5m
  6. Sharpnel Traps
  7. Chest Piece close quarters bleed effect (useful with Adrenaline Rush) – RidgeWays Pride – earn by completing 100th floor then craft – FaceTankers Dream
  8. New Brand Set – Belstone Armoury – 3-piece (Incoming Repairs, Armour Regen and Armour on Kill)
  9. Named gear pieces  – Perfect Efficiency, Perfect BloodSuck
9-11 Never Forget

Perfectly exonerated

The first few moments out of jail are amazing.  Your senses are heightened and you look towards the Sun like it’s the only thing that actually matters.  Everyone around you is in slow motion and you can hear birds sing.

Afterwards, you wonder how you actually got here, how you put yourself in danger and what things lead to this point…where is Moment Zero? The actual point in time, the decisions that set up a series of horrendous events that led to your incarceration.

My PS4 GamePlay is down to 4 hours max a week so I’m now a casual gamer unable to commit to long Raids or Farming sessions. Amazingly enough, I’m still picking up rare, exotic gear pieces and just accepted an invitation to an Elite clan.
